Brandan J. Millan

Brandan Millan has been described by his clients as a renaissance man. Millan has spent time as a software engineer, firefighter, military veteran, an adjunct faculty at several colleges, and an IANTD Mixed Gas Technical Dive Instructor. Each of these endeavors has served to further grow his curiosity and his drive to improve. Millan believes strongly that gratitude and discipline help lead to success. For him, the remainder of that credit is attributed to his mother, a first-generation Filipina who came to the United States when she was 21 years old. She taught him the value of hard work, family, accountability, integrity, and selfless service. Millan strongly believes in giving back to his community. He has been a volunteer for the Valley Big Brother Big Sister Program, The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and has also coached youth wrestling for many years.

A Native Arizonan, Millan attended Arizona State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters in Public Safety and Leadership. Millan’s first trade was automotive painting, which began at age 13 when he would spend summers working as a painter’s helper for his father. He still utilizes that skill today, as he has a passion for building classic cars. Millan attributes his attention to detail and eye for quality from the time he spent as an automotive refinisher. Meanwhile his enthusiasm for construction began while he assisted his father and uncles with home additions, roofing projects, and building his family’s cabin in Strawberry, Arizona.

Millan’s formal contracting career started 18 years ago with a childhood friend. It quickly turned into a multi-million-dollar countertop fabrication company. His goal was always to design and build homes for clients and real-estate investment. It took Millan five years to attain that goal. Millan’s true passion lies in designing homes and managing the building process. Millan applies his education, certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, and his practical experience in construction operations to streamline processes resulting in a beautifully designed, planned, and built home.

Millan would describe himself as an East Valley Kid and enjoys staying active and spending time with his family. He has completed several marathons, as well as over 10 triathlons. He is a NASA Drug Free Power Lifting National Champion and wrestled at the collegiate level. He also is a multiple time Master’s Pan American and World Champion in Jiu-Jitsu.
